Where Engineering Meets Creativity
We started Personal Print Lab 3D because we believed great ideas shouldn't be held back by manufacturing limits. We combine deep engineering knowledge with a passion for design and the freedom of additive manufacturing to bring your ideas to life.
Built on Three Pillars
Engineering Precision
Every print starts with solid engineering thinking. We understand tolerances, material behaviour, and structural requirements — so your parts don't just look good, they work.
Creative Design
From concept sketches to production-ready files, we approach every project with a designer's eye. Form and function aren't opposites — they're the same thing done right.
Additive Manufacturing
3D printing isn't just a process for us — it's a philosophy. Building layer by layer means less waste, faster iteration, and the ability to make things that simply can't be made any other way.
From Hobby to Craft
Personal Print Lab 3D grew out of a garage workshop and a frustration with off-the-shelf products that never quite fit. We started printing replacement parts for things that couldn't be bought anymore, then custom brackets, then gifts, then prototypes for local businesses.
What began as a hobby quickly became something more serious. We invested in professional-grade machines, expanded our material range, and developed a design workflow that takes a rough idea all the way to a finished, packaged product.
Today we work with individuals, small businesses, and product developers across the UK — helping them make things that matter, one layer at a time.
Our Values
Honest craft
We tell you what's possible, what isn't, and what the best approach is — even if it's not the most expensive one.
Obsessive quality
Every order gets the same attention whether it's one keyring or fifty prototype parts. We don't ship anything we wouldn't be proud of.
Fast iteration
3D printing's superpower is speed. We use it to get you real physical feedback quickly, so you can refine and improve without burning budget.
UK-based & personal
We're a small UK operation, not a fulfilment warehouse. You talk to the people actually making your parts.
